The common name “Brown Leaf-rolling Orb Weavers” should be in singular form, Brown Leaf-rolling Orb Weaver.

“Araneus noegeatus (Thorell, 1895)” has now been transferred to Leviaraneus noegeatus (Thorell, 1895). 

The name should have been Cyclosa confraga (Thorell, 1893). 

The name should have been Cyrtarachne conica O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1901, with the initial O. added. 

The name should have been Macracantha hasselti (C. L. Koch, 1837).

The name should have been Milonia obtusa Thorell. 1893.

“Singa” perpolita (Thorell, 1892) has now been transferred to Songaraneus perpolitus (Thorell, 1893). 

“Nusatidia javana Simon, 1869″ should read Nusatidia javana (Simon, 1897).

The lower left photo is that of an undescribed Kelawakaju female. The lower right photo is a female of Kelawakaju singapura Maddison & Ng, 2022.

The species has since been described as Kelawakaju leucomelas Maddison & Ng, 2022.

The name Burmattus pococki (Thorell, 1895) has now been synonymised with Burmattus albopunctatus (Thorell, 1895).

The name should have been Diplocanthopoda marina Abraham, 1926.

The common name “Forked Jade Jumpers” should be in singular form, Forked Jade Jumper.

Figure D should have been ♂ H. semicupreus, not ♀.

“Junxattus sp. A” should now read Chalcovietnamicus vietnamicus (Zabka, 1985).

The upper left picture is that of a ♀ Myrmarachne acromegalis Yamasaki & Ahmad, 2013.

The species Heteropoda sp. A is now known as Heteropoda borneensis (Thorell, 1890).

The species Heteropoda sp. B from Singapore has been described. It is now known as Heteropoda tutula Jaeger & Koh, 2024. The male pictured on the upper right of this page is that of Heteropoda temburong Jaeger & Koh, 2024, found so far only in Brunei (Temburong, Belait) and Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak). 

Heteropoda sp. C is now known as Heteropoda singaporensis Jaeger, 2024.

Heteropoda sp. I has been described as Tiomaniella ladam Grall & Jäger, 2022.

Under Heteropoda laai Jäger, 2008, the left picture should have shown a female sex symbol ♀, while the right picture a male sex symbol ♂. 

The common name of this spider should have simply been Leopard-spotted Huntsman. 

Under Thelcticopis sp. B (Stout-legged Heavy Huntsman), the all references to Thelcticopis sp. B should be changed to Thelcticopis sp. A.

“Dolichognatha” sp. D has now been transferred to Zhuaraneus daoxiang Mi, Wang & Li, 2024.

Guizygiella nadleri (Heimer, 1984) has been transferred from the family Tetragnathidae to family Araneidae.

The photo should have been to Janice Ang.

The name should have been Argyrodes fasciatus Thorell, 1893.

“Ariamnes flagellum Doleschall, 1857″ should read Ariamnes flagellum (Doleschall, 1857).

The species Faiditus xiphias (Thorell, 1877) has been tranferred to Rhinocosemetis xiphias (Thorell, 1877). 

“Meotipa picturata Deeleman-Reinhold, 2009″ should read Meotipa picturata Simon, 1895.

The name should read Molione triacantha Thorell, 1893. 

The species has been transferred to a different genus. It is now Yunohamella mneon (Bösenberg & Strand,1906).

WSC has amended its publication date. The name is now Alcimochthes limbatus Simon, 1886. 

“Amyciaea forticeps O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1873″ should read Amyciaea forticeps (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1873).

The publication date has been adjusted by WSC. The full name is now Pholodamia hilaris Thorell, 1895. 

Under Distribution,  “Singapore” is the type locality and therefore should have been italicised Singapore.

WSC has now listed this species as Philodamia variata Thorell, 1895.

WSC has since listed this species as Philoponella quadrituberculata (Thorell, 1893).
