This is an interactive online database of all papers relating to spider taxonomy, from the year 1757 onwards. Readers are able to access and download all the taxonomic publications linked to every spider named in this book. The database search engine works even when an outdated name is given. Registration is required, but membership is free.

The cyberspace is full of spider identification guides. We would however recommend only the more authoritative ones such as the following:

   This resource links specimen images of Southeast Asian spiders and DNA barcodes from quantitative ecological surveys, mainly in Vietnam.
2. Jumping spiders (Arachnida: Araneae: Salticidae) of the World
   jumpingspiders.com
   This interactive database documents the general appearances, genitalia, descriptions, maps and literature of jumping spiders worldwide.
3. New E-book and databases of Salticidae (Araneae) of the world
   salticidae.pl
   This massive e-book contains illustrations of salticid genitalia worldwide, and some third-party images from other online sources and published material.
4. Pholcidae: The Longest Legs in the Web
   pholcidae.de
   Full of high-quality images of pholcids around the world, this is a must-read for those interested in pholcid identification.
5. Salticid Images
   salticidae.org/salticidImages
   This is by far the best source of references for those interested in Southeast Asian jumping spiders. It contains thousands of specimen and genitalia images.
6. The Agnarsson Lab
   theridiidae.com
   This site contains a pictorial guide to Theridiidae genera, with extracts of generic definitions.
7. The Theridiidae (Araneae) of the World
   belgianspiders.be
   This e-book provides a well-illustrated key to the theridiids with their diagnoses to the genera.
